Hedda Gabler follows the title character, Hedda, who is trapped in a marriage and a house that she does not want. This show played in thrust at the Jericho Arts Centre, an intimate venue with minimal crew. I was the Stage Manager on this project. I learned extensive firearm safety protocols through the use of two prop revolvers that were loaded with blanks and fired onstage. During the performances, I operated both the light and sound boards, rather than calling cues to an operator. Due to unforeseen scheduling conflicts, I also had to bring on swing ASMs for 5 different performances. I worked with my ASMs to create comprehensive backstage paperwork, and talked each swing ASM through the track as I ran cues.
